The Collision Repair Education Foundation will again be hosting the Cars, Careers and Celebrities Expo on September 18 at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL in conjunction with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Meet the next generation of collision repair technicians and share your real world experience with them. Over 400 high school and college collision repair students from 5 states are anticipated to attend this event.
If your company is looking to hire entry-level collision students, then you'll want to participate in this event. This event is open to all industry members with different sponsorship levels that fit any budget.
In addition to meeting these students, the event will feature NASCAR drivers, pit crew members and Jim and Mike Ring from Ringbrothers.

During the recent NACE Expo in Detroit, the PartsTrader booth was buzzing from the announcement of an integration agreement between PartsTrader and OE Connection. Repairers visiting the PartsTrader booth entered to win prizes supplied by several PartsTrader Rewards™ partners. Congratulations to Shannon Birmingham with Andy Shaw Ford in Sylva, NC who won a complete set of Lean Line Paint Stands. The stands were supplied courtesy of Goliath Carts.

| Repairers - Do Your Suppliers Confirm Your Orders in a Timely Manner? |
|
|
| Are your suppliers responding to your quotes and orders in a timely manner? Businesses that confirm your orders in the PartsTrader application in a timely fashion is good for your business, as well as theirs.
Order confirmation time is also one of the five metrics used by PartsTrader to determine Premier Supplier status. Suppliers with Premier Supplier status receive discounted subscription fees.

The Premier Supplier program recognizes those suppliers whose use of the PartsTrader platform delivers the greatest value to their repair shop customers. These suppliers:
- Maintain an Overall Rating of 4.0 or better for OE Parts Dealers or 3.5 for other Suppliers
- Provide consistent pricing discounts to repairers.*
- Provide a consistent quote response rate to repairers.*
- Confirm orders within one hour on a consistent basis.
- Remain current with their PartsTrader account.

| PartsTrader and OE Connection Streamlining Collision Parts Ordering |
|
|
 PartsTrader and OEC announced an integration agreement which will enable quote requests and orders originating from the PartsTrader application to be processed in the OEC dealer portal through the CollisionLink® parts procurement solution. This bi-directional integration will allow dealer users of CollisionLink to process quote requests and orders originating from the PartsTrader platform, as well as other orders received from body shops using CollisionLink Shop or other third-party integrators.
