Repairer Update
Collision Shops Now Earning Rewards for Using PartsTrader
The PartsTrader RewardsTM program for repairers officially launched January 27. Repairers earn points on their voluntary parts purchases on the PartsTrader platform. These points can be redeemed for innovative products and services designed to specifically help their businesses.
The Rewards program offers over 45 products from 2014 SEMA New Product Award runner-up, 6-Hands, LLC; Shoot Suit Inc.; and two-time NACE product award winner, Goliath Carts, LLC.
Points can be redeemed through the PartsTrader Rewards Store. Enrolled repairers can access the store through their Account Page by clicking on the orange widget in the upper right side of the dashboard.
Early access enrollment started on October 1, 2014, allowing repairers to start earning points prior to the official program launch. Want to join now? Click here.

Manager Tip for Repairers & Suppliers
The Importance of "User Management" in PartsTrader
PartsTrader puts a lot of control in your hands. For example, you don't need to call us to add another user at your company, or to reset passwords, or control data preferences. Thus, an important role in your company is the "User Manager."
If you are the User Manager for your company, take five minutes at least every six months to:
- Review those in your company who have access to PartsTrader to make sure all have the proper access privileges
- Adjust roles
- Deactivate a user who has left your company--remember to check to see if they are listed as your company's Primary User or a User Manager and assign an active person to these key roles

Creating an Even Playing Field
If you've attended one of our online or in-person meetings around the country, you've probably heard someone from our staff talk about our commitments to the industry. One of our core product values is to give all suppliers who participate in the PartsTrader marketplace an "equal opportunity" to win business. That is to say, each supplier:
- has the same information about the vehicle and parts required;
- can see how the estimate was written;
- has access to photos and comments that the repair shop has added to clarify their needs; and
- has the same amount of time to respond and put their best foot forward with a quote that includes part availability, part quality, delivery time and price.
PartsTrader has remained committed to this core product value as new features are added, so that each supplier has the same fair shot at winning a sale, while giving their customers all of the information that they need to make an informed purchase decision.

Do You Track Part Returns in PartsTrader?
PartsTrader allows both repairers and suppliers the opportunity to indicate that a part has been returned.
This allows repairers to indicate that the part is no longer required, to seek more quotes, or to place a direct order. Suppliers can use PartsTrader reports to monitor their return percentages, which is a valuable metric to run their business efficiently.
